Can no longer access email. Password rejected. No "security questions" were ever set.
My step-mother has had an "sbcglobal.net" email account for over a decade. This is the first time we've ever had a problem.
Suddenly, she can't access her email account, each time being told "incorrect password". I'm a PC Tech and tried multiple ways to login but nothing works. I checked from my own computer at home and verified she is indeed using the correct password (I could not login either, trying both my home PC and phone, leading me to think her password has been changed.)
Attempting "password recovery" thru the ATT website asks two security questions. ATT never hosted her email (account created long before ATT took over SBC) so no "security questions" were ever set.
"Yahoo" now hosts "sbcglobal.net" accounts, but when I ask them for help, they direct me to ATT (and forget getting help from Yahoo.)
I'm stuck. Can anyone help resolve this mess?
