Blocked Domain, Email or IP address Questions and Discussion

Hi, I'm the syadmin of an ESP.   For some reason most of our users with ATT email addresses are unable to receive emails from the system.  We've tried numerous times reporting the issue to ATT blocks, however the issue still exists and our users are getting frustrated.  Can you help please?

This is the ATT error message from our email server.  We use Elastic Email as our Email service provider.  They believe you are blocking our domain for some reason, as they have already moved us to another ip.

Here's an example of the error we are getting:

553 5.3.0 alph154 DNSBL:RBL 521<64.159.65.119 >_is_blocked.For information send an email to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net

This affects most of the IPs in our netblock (64.159.65.0/24) but not all.

We've reported this many times now and gotten no reply. It's been over a month.  We've gone through every remediation step listed here:

http://rbl.att.net/block_inquiry.html

Filled out the form here a number of times:

http://rbl.att.net/cgi-bin/rbl/block_admin.cgi

We emailed:

abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net

I tried this form as well:

http://rbl.att.net/end_user_request2.html

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Dan

Seriously, who do we need to talk to to get off the AT&T block lists, you are doing your customers a disservice by not allowing them to get legit emails and not allowing other providers to send to your network.

The system that is in place doesn't work, and I'm left trying to answer the questions of "why doesn't your service work" when, in all cases save sending to AT&T, it does work.

All of our DNS records are correct, we have reverse, SPF, domainkey records.

Hello I asked, emailed, and called you guys, twitter, many calls, and even PM'd. It's been over two weeks now. 😞 I even purchased a new IP but it seems everything my datacenter has is already blocked before I even buy a dedicated IP! I can't buy a non fresh one because there are no more IPV4 ips. This is really hurting a client.

We are also having the same problem as jglaer63 and BusybeeFL.  We have already submitted our server IP multiple times over the last 2 months to http://rbl.att.net/cgi-bin/rbl/block_admin.cgi with no response.  MXToolbox also shows our IP as 100% safe... can you please help?

i got a bounced email  (called a ‘NDR’ – non-delivery report’) with an error code 521 – indicating a mailing was blocked because it ‘exhibited behavior consistent with spamming or abuse.’  The NDR email will include information something like this (Note: The exact error message will vary depending on your email client)

Remote_host_said:_Error: "521 x.x.x.x blocked by sbc:blacklist.mailrelay.att.net. DNSRBL: Blocked for abuse. See http://att.net/blocks" while connected from domain (x.x.x.x) to scc-mailrelay.att.net (204.127.208.75)

i have send a removal request by private message and i'm waiting the response from the customer service care !!!!
thanks

Hi,

same problem here: despite various attempts through http://rbl.att.net/cgi-bin/rbl/block_admin.cgi during those last months, my server IP is still blocked by att blacklist.

I tried to send a message to the abuse_rbl mail too but i didn't get any response.

I also requested a delisting with detailed informations through private message 2 weeks ago and still waiting for an answer.

The server is not listed elsewhere.

Can you please help me as well?. Thanks
