Blocked Domain, Email or IP address Questions and Discussion

Hi, I'm the syadmin of an ESP.   For some reason most of our users with ATT email addresses are unable to receive emails from the system.  We've tried numerous times reporting the issue to ATT blocks, however the issue still exists and our users are getting frustrated.  Can you help please?

This is the ATT error message from our email server.  We use Elastic Email as our Email service provider.  They believe you are blocking our domain for some reason, as they have already moved us to another ip.

Here's an example of the error we are getting:

553 5.3.0 alph154 DNSBL:RBL 521<64.159.65.119 >_is_blocked.For information send an email to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net

This affects most of the IPs in our netblock (64.159.65.0/24) but not all.

We've reported this many times now and gotten no reply. It's been over a month.  We've gone through every remediation step listed here:

http://rbl.att.net/block_inquiry.html

Filled out the form here a number of times:

http://rbl.att.net/cgi-bin/rbl/block_admin.cgi

We emailed:

abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net

I tried this form as well:

http://rbl.att.net/end_user_request2.html

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Dan

Atnt is now blocking websites from 000webhost and hostinger

100,000s of websites are blacklisted.

my site sc2clanowned.tk is block , as soon as i tether to phone its unblock.

We can now no loger host websites on multiple servers without fear of atnt blocking them

The fact is they were not legally allowed to block websites before the net neutrality ruling.

They are now blocking innocent peoples websites because of millicious activity of 1 of website on the same server.

we going to have to switch isps or use proxys now just like in china.

We recently changed hosting companies and therefore IP addresses.  Aparently the new IP address was on AT&T blacklist.  I have submitted 3 removal requests though (http://att.net/blocks) over the last 4 weeks and we are still getting blocked.  Who can I talk to about getting assistance?

Hello @ascouter

I am able to access this site using AT&T's wired and wireless networks, so AT&T is not blocking it. Are you using the same computer at home and when you're away? Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Are you getting an error message on the site?

Thanks,

Dmitriy

I called the Princess Cruise Customer service dept and they have a notice for ATT internet customers saying that
the DMS code of the IP address needs to be corrected in order to get on their sight. This issue is highly localized and does not affect ALL ATT customers; ie my son who lives 20miles from me and has ATT service has no trouble getting on the site. I can use my laptop at his place or at the library and get on this site. It is only blocking me at my house. The router has already been replaced and I have 3 computers using 23 different browsers and no luck form my house.

i switched my hosting provider, my point is 000webhost and hostinger.in are some of the largest free and popular hosting sites on the internet. Before fcc had its net nutrality rulings isps didnt even have the power to block websites. Users must beware that when they use free hosting services they may be a victim of isp censoring due to the security risk of 1 person hosting a website on the server. This makes us victims of injustice.

Either way iam recomending my clients that wish to use free hosting services to stay away from atnt.

There is a reason other isps have not labeled these free hosting services security risks, is atnt unable to provide security and access to the entire web?

This would be a great selling point to other isps, as soon we will see isps advertising uncensored access to the web.

Just like organic food the freemarket will dictate the trends

Hello, we've been trying unsuccessfully to get "unblocked" by AT&T for OVER A YEAR, using the online tool to report the issue through the administrator portal.  Is there a chance I can get a real person to review this and help?  If there's more work to be done on our side, we're willing.  We checked our blacklist and spam statuses as directed and we're clear (example: http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/).

Here's the actual block message below.  I can be reached at

We have the exact same problem.  I even sent a message to the link provided in this post, but our domain continues to be blocked.  This is costing us business and the worst part is costing our customers business.  Please help!!!  MXtools and any other RBL lists show our domain as safe!

Thanks

Hi Team,

For the last couple of months our organizations IP has been blacklisted and everytime we try to send out an email we get the NDR with the below message:

521-82.196.43.54 blocked by sbc:blacklist.mailrelay.att.net.\r\n521 dnsrbl: blocked for abuse. see http://att.net/blocks

Have logged serveral cases so far by accessing the link http://att.net/blocks , and i guess no one is monitoring it. A few minutes back luckily picked up a working link from the very forum and entered the required information to have the blacklist removed.

As the exchange admin gently request that this be looked into at the earliest as several of our users are unable to perform their business critical duties by not being able to send emails to their at&t counterparts.

Thanks and Regards,

Ramann

ATT send out a firmware update that some of their gateways did not respond to. A tech had to come out and manually enter data for the gateway to be updated. NOW the site comes up with no issuse.

I don't understand your answer.  No other email comercial emails systems are bouncing our messages.  Not google, yahoo, live, mail, icloud, etc.Just att.net and its subsididaries.  I have confirmed on multiple occasions with my hosting company that all of our settings and dns entries are correct.

Pleaes elaborate on what issue AT&T is seeing that is triggering your systems to block email from spacegrant.net.
