Hi @hrvhouse,

we're here to help. Check out the article for steps to reset your sbcGlobal email. Make sure you are resetting on ATT.net. If you are unable to get in the email its sending the reset to, you will need to reset by answering your security questions.

Dee I to have the same problem.

When try to reset. I am asked  security question from 16 years ago that I don't know the answer to.

Step 1. I log in to yahoo mail like I have done for years

Step 2. I am transferred to an AT&T email login

Step 3. I enter my user id and password

Step 4. I get this message "For your security, your AT&T Access ID has a temporary protection lock."

"To unlock it,reset your password (FL001)"

Step 5. I click the rest your password hyperlink

Step 6. Then I see a dialog box that says"You are being redirected to ATT.com  where you can recover your password.

Step 7. I am transferred to https://www.att.com/.   On this site I see  nothing about resetting a password. Only retail items like wireless, internet ,  and TV  services etc....

This time I did not get to a place that asked for security questions.. This is a dead end.  Does anyone have any answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Gdsullivan1 I have been getting the run around from the digital assistance for a week now. I've been locked out and they just say they have a server problem and wait. This was after 5 hours straight doing the same thing over and over to get into my email account. I'm on hold again waiting to talk to customer service to see who I can talk to that can get this thing unlocked. Very upset.

Not sure if this helps anyone but I was able to recover my account. I called att support 800 288 2020 and said my issues was with the internet, rep named Alex (which there are probably 10,000) helped me. I told him it was actually my email that wasn't working and not my internet.

Explained it was an old bellsouth email, he changed my password, I was able to login through yahoo.com again, and there were my 31000 emails. Also I created a new email account on my phone and it worked there also. Currently working on getting this setup through gmail again to filter out the 20+ years of spam and garbage. Good luck everyone.
