att.net login

I am unable to log in to my Sbcglobal.net email. For the past year I have only been able to access my email via web browser then att.net log in page. Now, I can't get to my email at all.

We can help with email issues, such as this.  First and foremost, let us take a look at the browser that you are using.

 

1. What browser are you using?

2. Have you cleaned the cache and cookies of the browser(If Mac- Reset browser)

3. Have you tried on an different browser?

4. What errors are you getting?

 

Also, a good rule of thumb is to change or reset your password.  If you have not reset your password, you can do so here: AT&T Email Password Reset

 

Please keep in mind that resetting your email password will also reset your AT&T online account management(for billing) password as well, so please make a note of the password change.  If these things do not work for you, please answer the questions above and reply back here and we can help further.

My att.net email has been hacked at least 5 times. I have reset my password for the account, the password on my router and I have been made aware of phishing emails going out to people I know. Also got an email to myself from someborrvert telling me he has found all kinds of Orin on my account and demanding bitcoins to not publish, which is a lie. Besides creating a whole new account what else can I do?

When you changed your email password because you think you were "hacked" you probably should change your security questions as well.

 

Phishing and spam emails to your email address you can't really stop.  You can try training the spam filters to get the stuff into the spam folder eventually but that isn't guaranteed.  You can set up filters of your own if there something consistent to match on and they are going into your inbox (but not if they are already going into spam).  You can create blocked addresses for the possibly few stupid spammers that don't vary their email address or domain.  Blocked specific addresses and domains are mostly useless for fighting this stuff and yahoo has vary limited tools to handle spam in the first place.

 

Emails going to your contacts might mean someone got a hold of your contacts list.  Another possibility someone on your contacts list has you on their contacts list and they were hacked.  It's really not clear how or where these spammers get their lists but once your email address is out in the wild there's no getting it back.

 

As for that phishing email trying to extort you for bitcoins, if it's the one I am thinking of, others have gotten that one too (I did) and not just on att/yahoo email users either.  Just trash it.

 

Create a new email address?  Yes, you can do that.  But that implies you probably need to tell all your contacts your new email address.  And there's no guarantee that won't eventually leak out either no matter what email address you use.  But if you are willing to do this why use att/yahoo as your email service provider when there are so many better ESPs to choose from; pay and/or free webmail and/or email client support.  I recommend a pay service (they're relatively cheap) since they usually have actual support, better email service overall, and if you choose wisely, more powerful spam fighting tools.  Note, gmail, outlook/hotmail, and of course aol are not on my list if for no other reason than security and privacy.

How do I get a list of phone numbers I have called over the last six months or longer.

Where can I find this info in my account?

I found it once, but can't remember how I did it.
