ATT Yahoo Email Search broken?

I am unable to search ATT/Yahoo email.  I repeatedly receive the error "An error occurred while trying to fetch the items in this list."  I have tried using Google Chrome and Firefox with the same results.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue?  Is there a workaround?  Or is there a projected fix on the way?

For additional context, I saw other reports of issues with search but all that I found seemed to be over a year old.  Regarding the issue I am reporting, the problem only started recently.  I don't have an exact date but I would say within the last few months.  Prior to that I did not have problems searching email.

We're here to help with your email inquiry, @gunthers123!

Does this continue to happen after clearing the cache and cookies of your browser?  Doing this will clear any browser settings that may be causing the error to occur.

Give that a try and let us know if it helps!

Thank you for your feedback.  I have tried clearing my cache in Google Chrome but the problem persists.

I am finding the problem appears to be dependent on the particular word or phrase that I'm searching for.  If I search for a person's first name OR last name the search works but if I put their first name <space> last name, the search fails.

I searched for a phrase "college raptro" I accidently misspelled "raptor" but the search worked and returned results with the word "college" in them.  But then when I corrected the word "raptor" and did a search for "college raptor", the search failed.

I have been able to consistently reproduce the problem so it does not seem to be an intermittent issue.

Thank you for the update, @gunthers123.

Just to confirm:

  • Have you tried using another browser?(To confirm this is not a browser issue)
  • Do you have the same problem when using another device?(To eliminate this is a device issue).

Let us know more so we can better assist you.
