AT&T help... abandoned???

AT&T support moved my question to a private thread and... completely forgot about it. Is this normal???

Try reposting your question; since it's private, we can't view it.

Can send but can't receive @sbcglobal.net emails in Outlook 2003 since May 18, 2020. Adding a digital key did not help either. Tried multiple pop3/smtp server settings found on various sites - same outcome: sending is OK but not receiving. All worked well up until that point, now I am getting this message:

"Task '[email scrubbed] - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted.  If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'"

They suggested new imap settings but aren't those for Apple devices? Sure enough, those didn't work either.

Dropped out again after yet another suggestion that did not help. I see it's a normal thing!

Generally if you are able to send but not receive email, there are several likely causes to investigate. These include email quota issues, your DNS settings and your email client settings. Are you able to send and receive email without issue on web mail? Have you tried a different version of outlook? If so do you get the same result?

To start, we recommend our Email Not Working article. It is a great resource for troubleshooting email issues. If you are still experiencing problems with sending emails, we also recommend our Troubleshoot & Resolve tool. This will assist you with running diagnostic tests, synching your email and provide additional troubleshooting steps. Remember to log in with your AT&T credentials to get your custom diagnostics and steps.

Let us know if this helps.

Since nothing else is working... let's start the elimination process from the beginning - do you still support Outlook 2003 for sbcglobal.net email?
