Ameritech.net account

Have an Ameritech.net email account since 1991. Incoming email has been turned off (verified by ATT) since Feb. 3. No one seems to know why or can find anyone to resolve the issue. I have spoken to at least 10 "representatives", with zero help. Some could even manage to speak a little English.
I also have 2 wireless phones with ATT for 20 years. ATT Internet service is not available where I live, so my email account is not associated with any other bill/account. I pay for it separately.
If ATT can't find anyone to help me with the email issue, I have no need for their wireless service either. You need to do better.

This is a customer populated Forum, not AT&T.

How is thus an At&t problem?
Is Ameritech.net a private email server? Private email servers are often limited to customers, employees or members. For example if I stop using Cox cable for my internet service I have six months and then any email service I have with them is shut off.
If that is the case the solution is you need to open a new and public email account with someone like Gmail or Yahoo.
