Hi @bigmisiu,

It is my understanding your email server has been blocked.  We understand the importance of getting this matter rectified.  I will assist you to the best of my ability.

You have already gone through the correct procedure; you emailed abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net.  The hard part I know is the wait.  They do get a large quantity of emails and it will take some time for them to respond.

Additionally, you can read about what causes email to be blocked by AT&T here.

Have a great day!

We already sent out another email for followup with additional info but still have not heard back. Is there any way we can escalate this? I've seen some escalations on here that were handled relatively fast. The email says "24-48 hours" but that's already passed. I also saw on here that it took 3 weeks to get resolved which is unacceptable. Please advise.

Thanks,

Dom

Hi, I am guessing/hoping that your issue was resolved.  We started having the same issue about 2 weeks ago.

The IP addresses listed in the bounced emails are not on any blacklist that we are able to find.

How did you get your issues resolved?

We are getting this message for all emails i try to send to an .att.net account.  It started on July 20 and is still continuing.  My server company (LinkSky) has also contracted ATT and was told there are many having this problem.  I am sending the error massage to both att & to LinkSky.

If your IP is being blocked by the att/yahoo servers you will need to email abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net as mentioned on this page.

I have a client that is going to lose money because of this.

It started when we moved to a new mail server. The mail server is secured, and mxtoolbox says we're not on any of the dozens of public blacklists they check.

This just started happening for us a couple weeks ago. It is unacceptable. I am continuing to try to contact the RBL team at the address provided in the bounce message; we're getting the same one.

One of the client's employees is an AT&T customer. AT&T does realize that this causes problems for people paying them to provide a service, right? Do they care?

Also, for the AT&T employees saying "you must report bounces" - WE ARE, and telling us we need to doesn't help.

Do what we do.... We block all AT&T email and have the AT&T customer report it to them with a specific error email reply.. and then NEVER remove AT&T from our servers even if they contact us, which the ALMOST NEVER do. Let the customer call them over and over and over again about the issue with no resolution. We simply delete all abuse requests from AT&T. Just like they ignore us. We then tell the AT&T customer to use another email to contact our customer companies... and blame it all on AT&T. Maybe they lose business? I kind of hope so, but I care about as much as they do. virtually zilch.
