Why Doesn’t AT&T use CAPTCHA for account logins?

It is really annoying that my account is constantly locked out from brute force password guessing attacks. If AT&T used CAPTCHA this would be prevented; however every time I need to login I have to reset my password. AT&T uses CAPTCHA for these community forums, why not for account login and myATT email login?

Hi Retired656, we'd be glad to address your concerns about logging in to your account.

We'll be sure to pass along your feedback about using CAPTCHA when signing in to myAT&T and email accounts!

When it comes to having to reset your password every time you log in, that could be due to your browser storing your password. Clearing the cache and cookies should resolve this. Not clearing it out for a long period of time can result in login errors.

Give that a try and let us know if the problem persists.
