I just received my internet equipment and have not activated . my account does not show when i will be billed for my service will it be upon activation or after?

whether you plug in the equipment or not you will be billied from your account activation date so if your activation date was last week thats when you start getting billed, when you order service the rep sets an activation date, if you receive and hookup the equipment before that date it wont work but it still starts billing even without equipment
How can we improve?
