Was told no more payments!!!!!!!
I cancelled service with AT&T on February 1, 2020 because I was moving. I was told at that time to turn in the equipment at any FedEx or UPS store which I did. I was also told that I will not be billed another payment since I cancelled service. I asked this question twice because I wanted to make sure that I would not be billed. Here it is February 14, 2020 and $40 has come out of my bank account. I called AT&T and was connected to a girl, who while I was talking, hung up on me! How rude! You never hang up on your customers. I called back in and asked for a supervisor. At this point, I was very mad because of the horrible customer service and was told that I did owe another payment in full. I told them that the rep provided me with different information and I want to be refunded. The supervisor, named Michelle, out of Atlanta, GA (who is by far the rudest call center) stated that I will not refund your money and you are just mad because you were hung up on! Really???? She turned out to be just as rude as her employees. Every person I have spoke with out of the Atlanta, GA call center is RUDE! It seems as if they have been able to get away with this unaaceptable behavior.
I am so glad that I am no longer a customer with AT&T! I would never recommend anyone to AT&T. Has anyone else out there had really rude customer service out of the Atlanta, GA call center? It is obvious that they are not well trained there. I am hoping someone from corporate will read my posting and email me at [email scrubbed].
I am demanding a refund of $40.00 back to my bank account.
