Unknown Devices on Network

this device shows up as unknown30fff627206a.attlocal.net

Hangzhou KuoHeng Technology Co.,ltd

with this

MAC Address: 30:FF:F6:27:20:6A

so does anyone know or have this same device on their network? i just blocked it when i was my AT&T site. any advice is appreciated, thanks~

hi,

well i did get that far previously and again i find that "unknown30fff627206a.attlocal.net" device is back on my network.

oMg i edited this and it all erased dayuuuuuum~

anyway it says it's a Router, and for some reason i deleted it blocked it and now i can't seem to figure out why. i have a screenshot of it so you can see it. is there any way someone can call me? well let me know thanks again for the help~

This is probably some wireless device that you know by a different name. I tracked mine down and it was my Monster LED lights. You will have to go into each wireless device's properties and find the MAC address. Then you can compare to the one you listed above.  Hope that helps.

They are the company that sells/maintains MAC addresses to the various mfg's of computer related devices. For instance I have an old Samsung tablet that makes an interesting coaster for my beer mug but this outfit appears on MAC queries because they sold the MAC for that tablet to Samsung who is a client of theirs. Perhaps customer would be a better word. 

The purpose of their being there is likely not nefarious but Chi-Coms, I ain't trusting that bunch no more than I would (Edited per community guidelines) into a stiff breeze. I'm sure they are legit or I wouldn't have been able to find out this much. But then again they could just be being very inscrutable. I'll leave to you on account of I don't know. Have fun while it lasts, cause I don't think it going to last much longer.

wlan0 for hangzhou devices on mine were two smart lamp bulbs so renamed them.
