Transfer of Billing Responsibility not working
For about 10 days we have been trying to ACCEPT a TOBR (transfer of billing responsibility). Previous account holder has completed their portion and sent me the necessary info. She had a chat session with an ATT rep at the time to walk her through it.
We go to att.com/tobr and do our part, filling in the required info and accepting the terms. Then we get this error:
SD024: We apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently experiencing a temporary system error that prevents us from retrieving your account information. Please wait a few moments and try again.
This has been going on for 10 days. We have called, chatted, and used Twitter but reps have been very unhelpful, not understanding what we are doing. They keep trying to sell us NEW service.
Can someone in the community help?
