service tech never made it or called

We were having some spotty internet so we set up for a service call. The appointment was set between 12:00-4:00 pm on 7/11. We finally called about 4:45 wondering what happened. I had to take a half day off work just to be there. They said they would get in touch with the repairman and we would here something very soon. We called back at 7:15 pm. They put us on hold for almost a half-hour while they chatted with the other department. You would think if you were not going to make it you would call the customer and say you can't make it today or there has been a delay. They told us that our area was under a storm emergency and all repairmen were only priorty to those areas. The problem with that is it has been bright and sunny for a week and we haven't had any severe weahter for a long time and nothing coming in the near future. Sounds like the runaround to me. I will probably find a different internet provider after this poor service.

Same exact thing happend to me. Att is a joke. I've decided I'm done. Our internet went down 4 days ago, and each day that we have a scheduled appt for a tech to come out... there is of course a no show. Very poor service. We are leaving Att. I will be sure to inform my friends and family to stay away from Att.
