returned equipment, charged for entire month

I returned all of my internet equipment on Sept 19 to a UPS store, cancelled over the phone days prior but was still charged for all of September. Is this typical?

It depends on when your BILLING date ends.  If it ended any time after you cancelled, then yes, you would get charged for the entire month.

 

Let's say that your BILLING cycle ends on Sept.30.  This info will be on a bill.  Even though you may have cancelled on Sept. 14, you still get billed for the ENTIRE billing cycle.

 

From the website:  Effective January 14, 2019, we won’t offer prorated credits if you cancel your service before the end of your bill period.
