Not all devices connect

I've been using this router for a while, until today whenever I woke up it refused to connect to my PS4 pro. I thought it was just an issue with my playstation, however the same thing is occuring with my XBOX series s as well. The router will connect to other phones, tablets, and TVs but refuses to connect to my phone and my consoles.  Please help!

You can perform a reset of your gateway to see if that improves performance with your Xbox and PlayStation 4. To do so perform these steps:

  1. Press and hold the gateway Reset button for at least 10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot, but it won’t reset.
  2. Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights are lit. 
  3. See if the Broadband or Service status lights are solid green. If so, the reset worked.


Can you answer these questions for us:

  • How are your Xbox and PlayStation 4 connected via Wi-Fi or an ethernet cord? This helps up provide the best troubleshooting steps for your situation.
  • Are you only have connection issues for certain games or any game/app you try? This way we can find out if it's server side or with our service.
  • If connected via ethernet have you tried a different cable? Overtime cables will deteriorate and you will need to replace them.

Having the same issue for weeks now and customer service is no help. Resetting doesn’t help. Considering just moving over to Xfinity.
