NorthLane Refund Card By ATT a Scam
I received a refund from ATT for canceling service due to moving by means of a prepaid Mastercard debit card. Cant activate it online, Northlane activation phone number and customer service number "cannot be completed at this time". Spent about 2 hours on the phone with ATT being transferred back and forth between customer service, billing, and rewards department, all saying I need to talk to the department I just talked to. This is an overpayment I made and in my mind is theft and a scam, and is just frustrating.

It is so a scam. I got a refund through AT&T on a Northlane card and I can't activate it. I tried my new zip code and the zip code that the service was at and it would not work. Called AT&T and they can't do anything, and advised to go to a physical AT&T location to get the refund. Which I have to spend time out of my day to do. Super frustrating. At first I was sad that AT&T didn't service my area, but now with this mess I will never use them or recommend them again.

Yep, I just tried to activate mine. This is emblematic of how crappy AT&T’s service is. How they are handling the refunds gives me yet another reason to never consider using ANY of their products again. I think I’ll just file this away. I see this scam either getting attention from the government or a lawyer sniffing out a (Edited per community guidelines) suit. Good luck AT&T!

I like all the other thousands of people that have commented on post or like it, am a victim of this ATT scam. I attempted to activate my card online as stated on the card, by visiting “LOGIN.NORHTLANE.COM/ACTIVATE”. The way that this scam works is that they don’t allow you to create a login, for me I kept receiving the message that my password must be at least 8 characters with at least one letter and one number. Of course, fit these rules but no matter what I entered I received the same message.
So ATT's scam is to make it virtually mpossible to receive your money, the refund each of us is owed. They hope everyone just gives up.
