No return calls regarding over charges to my dsl account

Overcharged for my dsl monthly account but cannot get anyone to answer the phones, and cannot log in.  Says it does not recognize me.  Emailed and they say to log in on AT&T or call.  hmmmm.  I was overcharged ovr $60.00 this month from their automatic payment system.  I will be discontinuing automatic payments from now on if i can ever talk to someone.  I even tried chat and it wants my uverse account; I have dsl.

This is exactly why I will never do automatic bill pay with AT&T. One has to wonder exactly how many millions of dollars AT&T has harvested over time from people who were overcharged on their bills and simply never noticed because it was just a few dollars or simply gave up because AT&T c.s. is all but useless. They have suddenly decided to try overcharging me by just a few dollars for the last two months. Both times I caught it and went directly on tha chat with c.s. to get it resolved. I go through the whole speil with the first c.s. rep, only to have him or her hand me off to some elas in the "appropriate department" (as in just another c.s.rep across the room), and I have to go through the entire thing again, even after the second rep supposedly reads all of the initial transcript. Callin c.s. is a gamble as you may or may not get someone who can actually speak english that is understandable.
