Never received $300 Credit

Hello,

My name is Matt Gehring. I recently moved cities, and was going to cancel my AT&T account because of the terrible service. The salesmen that worked with me was fantastic, and told me if I renew my accoung and continue internet in my new city, I would receive a $300 credit with a 12 month contract. Surprise, that never happened. At this point I'm over it. You have 3 days to correct this or I am moving both my internet provider and cell phone service to another provider. I have no idea how a company of this magnitude could be so clueless, without being corrupt.

Excuse my frustrations, but i'm at my wits end. Please either issue my $300 credit, or let me know that it's not going to happen so I can move to a better service.

Thanks,

Matt Gehring

Hey there! We understand your frustration @mjgehring, and we'd be happy to check into your credit request.

In order to take a closer look into this, and to see what is happening with your credit we'll need to authenticate your account in a DM. Please check your Direct Message inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).

We look forward to hearing from you.

I feel your pain, they told me I'd get $500 visa gift card, but I had to wait up to 6 months. Come to find they say that because if you don't say you didn't receive it in a 4 month window, you forfeit. They also deleted all my conversation history so there is no proof of the $$ offered. I have screenshots of the $$ offered so now ATT is ignoring me. Customer service used to be awesome, now it's worse that Charter ever was. They could pay what they promised to keep a customer or spend a hundreds times that trying to get a customer back and it seems they'd rather do the latter.
