We're happy to help you with getting those accounts separated, majjjikman!

We've got a great article on how to unlink an individual account when you manage multiple accounts with one ID. Here are the steps that you can follow to get your accounts separated:

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile. Sign in if asked.
  2. Scroll to Account Settings and select Linked accounts.
  3. Choose Remove this account for the account you want to unlink. If you try to remove a canceled account with a balance due, we’ll ask you to make a payment.
  4. Select one of these, if asked:
    • A secondary user to replace you as the primary user
    • No one
  5. Choose a new primary account, if asked.
  6. Follow the directions to remove the account from your ID.

Please note that there are certain types of accounts you can't remove. These include the following:

  • Suspended accounts
  • Combined accounts (multiple services on the same account number)—if you have primary online access. Learn about primary and secondary online access.
  • U-verse TV or AT&T Internet accounts, if you have primary online access

Please let us know if you need additional help!

Hello Lacey,

I am having the same problem but cannot fix it since I cannot reach my Profile in MyATT. I had a tech come up with the same conclusion - we cannot fix it since we cannot reach the MyATT server, we keep ending up over at DIrect TV. THis is a simple problem to solve that seems to be confounding the help desk. Any help would be appreciated. I can provide all the answers to get the right one in to fix this problem.
