Invalid AT&T internet overage charges

Can you help me with my overage problem?  We do not have Uverse available in my area and we are getting hit with massive automatic overage charges. Several times I have disputed the overage charges and the AT&T techs said that I was under usage and ATT refunded me.  This happens almost every month.  I have to spend hours on the phone to get a refund.  Last month out internet was down for 10 day due to tech issues and we still got hit with $70 dollars in overage charges.  I spent hours on the phone talking and being handed off to CSRs then I got cut off.    They promised a supervisor would call us back but it never happened.  Is there a plan that we can use to help us?  Several times I was told to switch toUverse to avoid overage; but I do not have Uverse in my area.  Joe

What services do you have? U-verse or DSL? 

 

Also, how many devices are in use and what do you do online?
