internet usage

On my phone bill, there is a charge for "internet usage" on my bill. Is this for the usage over my monthly data amount?

This isn't a home phone issue, moving to the wireless forum.

This forum is not customer support. No one here can see your bill to answer. We only know what you share.  I’ve never heard of a charge for internet usage. Data overages charges are labeled differently. What plan do you have and how much was the charge?

I just have a landline and DSL. I know there is a maximum data for my DSL per month but I've never reached it. I have a young cousin staying with me and gaming so he may have done so.

Moved to Internet forum. Yes, there is a data cap on DSL and an overage charge if exceeded. That is likely what the charge is.

Sorry data amount and overage sounded like cell service to me.  I didn't even know AT&T had a set data limit on DSL.

I don't have cell service thru AT&T. They do have some limit amount. I am going to assume my cousin has gone over my data limit and make him pay. hahahahaha
