I got scammed
So I have contacted AT&T multiple times about my bill! I switched to AT&T from my other providers because the agent promised me a better price and service (which was a total lie) I tried for one month, and received at the beginning a bill is $60 which I paid . Then I received another bill of $400! I was promised that there would be no fees and would only pay $185 (phone and internet combined) and the fees would be waived as an incoming costumer. Before making the decision to switch. I contacted AT&T 3 times and they said they can do nothing about that. And that they would give me a payment arrangement. I got so frustrated. Today I canceled everything and called to cancel my internet. Was transfer to costumer loyalty, then I was told they can do nothing, they tried to make me stay but I didn’t want to, because I got dragged so much and my internet is terrible I get no internet, and I cannot continue the service. So I told her to cancel it, and was told that I would have to pay $165 cancellation fee, even though I made no contract nothing and was supposed to try it out. I am so disappointed, now I have to pay almost $600! I don’t want this! And I don’t know what to do! Because they want me to pay, should I contact legal services? I have never had this issues with no service company and I have moved a LOT from one country to anothee from one state to another. And this is the first time I am dealing with this. I DONT WANT TO PAY $600 and have to pay my new provider as well! AT&T HAS CAUSED ME TO END UP WITH OVER $1000 in just moving fees. I talked to the agent and wanted to make sure this wouldn’t happen and I wasn’t told that! This is the biggest scam. Can someone please help me and advise me how to go on with this?
