I can't pay my bill because I can't access my internet account (fixed wireless). Please help.

I cannot change my fixed wireless internet account number. Which means, I cannot pay my bill. It's been due for days. When I try to login, it keeps sending me to a previous account I had before I upgraded. And technician took the previous equipment back to att for me. How can I access my new account??? Please help.

We'd be happy to help you sign in to your account and make your payment, jimmyodle69.

The best way to get signed in is to create a user ID for your new account. Here are the steps to set up your ID:

  1. Go to the myAT&T sign-in page and select Create one now.
  2. Enter your AT&T phone number or account number and your billing ZIP Code. You may also be asked to enter a verification code.
  3. If there’s already a user ID for the account, choose from the options listed.
  4. Enter your personal info to prove your identity.
  5. Choose how you want to receive your verification code, if asked.
  6. Enter the verification code we send you.
  7. Enter a new user ID and password. Be sure your ID is an email address that starts with a letter.
  8. Save your ID and your password to your device, if you choose.
  9. Enter the contact info for your user ID.
  10. Set up your security questions and answers.
  11. Accept the AT&T User ID Terms & Conditions.
  12. Choose whether you want to sign up for paperless billing for your accounts, if asked. If you go paperless, we’ll email you a link. Select it to verify your email address.

If that doesn't work, you can link the new account to your current user ID following these steps:

  1. Go to My linked accounts in myAT&T.
  2. Select Link another account. We’ll look for other IDs or accounts that belong to you.
  3. If you don’t see the account you want to link, choose Search for it now. Or, take one of these steps:
    • To link your email, select Add an existing AT&T email account and follow the prompts. When you link an email account, the email password becomes the same as your myAT&T password for the user ID.
    • To link any other account, enter your AT&T phone number or account number and your billing ZIP Code, then select Continue.
  4. Enter more info to prove your identity, if asked.
  5. If we find the account on another ID, you can:
    • Combine the other ID with the one you used to sign in..
    • Sign in with the other ID.
    • Give account details to get second-person online access right away.
    • Ask the account owner for second-person online access.

Keep in mind that you can always make a payment by calling 800-288-2020. This way you'll avoid late fees and won't have to worry about making your payment in the event that the website is down or won't let you sign in.
