Got my AT&T Wi-Fi working again in my 2020 Jeep Cherokee

My Wi-Fi in my Jeep quit working over 7 months ago.  I called the Jeep number and they transferred me to the Wi-Fi department.  He had me start the car, go to Settings, then Reset, and then Restore Settings to default.

I then went into the Hotspot/Wi-Fi menu and set up a new Hotspot (it deleted the old one).  It would not let me set up the Wi-Fi from the menu, so I called AT&T, explained what the Jeep service guy told me to do, the AT&T customer service person (although saying they knew about the problem and were not supposed to set up new plans) agreed to trying a test.  She needed my VIN#.

it worked!!!  She set me back up with my unlimited plan for $20/month.

it’s been 2 weeks and the Wi-Fi is still working!!
