Early termination fees on not satisfied internet service

Hello Team,

 

I cancelled my internet service in first month itself after fighting with need of reconnecting wifi on TV/Mobile everyday because without that it was not working. Now scratching my head that need to pay ETF as well because internet from ATT was not working the way it should be.

I wish,  I hadn't fallen on the promotion letters coming to my home from ATT. Never thought that's a trap. 

 

First had to wait 15 days to get services set up because the appointments were not honored by ATT & they did last minute cancellation always. Didn't have confidence to wait for technical person to come for fixing as  you never know if that will be 1/2/3 weeks.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the updated Early Termination Fee policy. We understand that the services were not up to your liking, and unfortunately due to the policy the ETF stands. The only time the ETF is waived would be in the event of domestic violence, deceased account holder, or a move order. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. @msindhuI want to know where in your website states about 14 days trial instead of 30 days for both Uverse and Internet? I was told 30 days but now they want to charge me $360 for both services that did not meet my expectations. Uverse was not something that was supposed to be offered ay my address but yet they forced it.

I started the internet service on teh 7/2/2019, needed to cancel the service, but the 4 people I spoke to said I will be charged $180.00 ETF, wheres the friends say that there is no ETF in the first month.
