DSL service cancelled, still receiving bills

I canceled my DSL service last month and paid my last bill. This month I am being billed again for the service. The customer service telephone number on the bill has a recording that says it is no longer in service. When I call 800 288 2020, using the menu system, putting in the account number, it says the account is not recognized. When I talk to customer service, they transfer me to a location of infinite wait. Please advise next steps.
