DSL constanly drops out

Not sure what a package frame is or how to post it. My DSL drops out so often it's pointless to try to call tech support. It may work for a day or two and then it drops out every couple of minutes on every day after. I kill the power to the modem and the Sprint booster to reset but nothing I've tried is a permanent fix. I used to call tech support and they'd send the modem some kind of update which has no lasting affect. This is part of a package deal with a landline and Direct TV  advertised for $89 or $99 which magically turned out to be $150 and all I added was espn basic.
