What does it mean to provide excellent customer service? Providing excellent customer service means going the extra mile in making sure a customer is happy and satisfied with a company’s products or services. It also involves providing service to a customer in a timely, pleasant manner. In order to provide excellent customer service, one needs superb communication and problem resolution skills.
AT&T Follows nothing your reading above, I posted this just so they can see it, because they do read these messages, but they can pick and choose who they want to reply to, I am sure no one there has the courage to contact me, I have been screwed by AT&T multiple times and have been complaining for 8 months, but I will never be BULLIED or taken advantage of at all.
I've never been treated poorly and any issue I've ever had has been dealt with quickly. Just because you may have had what you consider to be poor treatment does not mean everyone else gets that same treatment.
I take it you dont read the forms, does not sound like it, why dont you read up and get back to me and how many overseas call centers are we dealing with here,
most of the people you cant even understand. Let me ask you are you a employee of AT&T or just a great contributor they want to keep happy?
This is a public forum comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers on our own time and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses. Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums but the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them. All these contributors are just customers same as you and I and @sandblaster has been on these forums since 2006 and authored 23531 posts 4362 kudos for helpful information and 1668 solutions to problems so i think hes read a few posts and pretty much seen every issue thats popped up
@UnhappyB you have many posts asking for someone to contact you and your not going to get a response because at&t does not read the forums, they host the site for customers to communicate with other customers.

Read the forms? I presume you mean read the forums, I most certainly do and I see all the customer service complaints but people don't come to these forums to complement or praise ATT, so it is quite normal to see mostly complaints. Its been that way as long as I've been on this forum which is more than 10 years now. Even with all the complaints, that still only constitutes a small percentage of customers. Do you know how many customer issues are dealt with each day? I'm sure you don't, no one except ATT does but I think it's safe to say a lot more customers get their issue taken care of than those that don't. Has customer service gotten worse? Maybe but that has just not been my experience. No, I am not an ATT employee nor does my forum status get me any special treatment. In fact, I avoid calling customer service unless absolutely necessary. If I can take care of an issue myself online, I do but the few times I have needed to call, I've gotten great service.

It’s a great question. It’s almost as if the company puts more effort into aggravating their customers than in pleasing us.

That's great that you have had no problems and have been treated with respect, but other people like myself would like the same treatment.
