Contract deals

My contract and discounts expire in 4 days.  I called to try to get a new deal.  The call taker couldn't / wouldn't provide any details for pricing after the contract expires.  She said they would call me after the expiration.  I am considering dropping Uverse TV entirely.  I really only need internet.  A slightly slick english speaking rep with a half decent deal could have locked me into another one year contract.  Meanwhile TWC is kissing my a-- everyway posible to switch back to them.  Why do these companies only care AFTER you quit them?

 

Why make it easier to ship their gear back to them then just selling to me on the phone?

We could not come to reasonable terms.  I am dumping ATT's uverse TV as of today.  The online tech noted, "ATT will not miss a customer like me."  I took that as meaning an informed customer.
