Continued use of pacbell.net email after terminating ATT internet acoount

If I terminate my current ATT internet Uverse connection (and account) in good standing (i.e, paying all dues), what steps do I need to take to continue using my @pacbell.net email accounts?  I have one main email account and three email sub-accounts, all are @pacbell.net. They all do forward to gmail accounts.   

The threads I found are six years old and talk about deleting some merged accounts if any.  As far as I know, none of these were merged with any att email accounts.   How do I find out if there was any merged accounts?
