Constant disconnects every few minutes, for 2 months now

I am also in a nightmare with Tracfone, so no phone and no way to contact ATT.

2 minutes on, 1 or 2 minutes disconnected, repeat endlessly for months.

We suggest checking on the status of your devices connected to the internet by using our Smart Home Manager. With it you can remotely access your home network, and use the Network Health Check to check how stable your device's connection is.

 

Could you also let us know if all of your devices are having intermittent connection, or if it is only a few devices? This will help us determine if there could be Wi-Fi interference in your home.

Hi Donovan. No I don't have those issues. I only use one device, a PC, and I don't use WiFi and that link wants me to use an app, but I don't have a phone.

I have reset my modem numerous times and used your 192.168.1.254 to reconnect. There have been issues in the past, where ATT would cut off the internet every night around 8 o'clock and not turn it back on until 7 or 8 am. And when I called ATT tech help, they had no idea of why that was happening.

I think my modem is about 10 years old and I know you offer newer modems for sale, but I noticed elsewhere on this forum that a person was experiencing similar outages and bought a new modem and it didn't help solve this problem. I'm 70 and living on SS of only $408 a month, so I have to try to work online to try and make enough additional money to keep from losing my trailer. I am no longer able to stay on my feet for more than a couple of hours without a problem and the last time I was able to find a job was in 2015 and it took me 3 months of trying to finally get hired, and it was as a dishwasher, and he went out of business and owed everyone back pay. Before that, my paycheck bounced 6 times and my bank was not happy.

Oh wait, I found a link for a PC on your Smart Home Manager page, but it won't give me access, here is what it says:

Whoops, now this page won't let me upload a screengrab image.

It says;

Unable to sign in
Uh oh. Smart Home Manager isn't compatible with your internet service. We're sorry for any inconvenience. (403.402)
