Combining your IDs means just one ID and password to remember.
I made the mistake and combined my wife's id with mine. How do I disassociate my wife's id from mine so she can manage her own passwords.

Manage your profile in att.com and look for an option to unlink. I agree with you that combining accounts this way is far worse in the long run.

I do not see my wife's id in the linked area you are speaking to.

I had to get tech account support to fix the issue. The was no “unlink account” option when I went to my profile, linked accounts page. Problem has been resolved.
