Can't Create a New Internet Account
A week ago, I signed up for ATT's internet, but I can't create an online presence for this new account. Att keeps sending me emails to not forget to set up an account, but when I press on the link they send me, and enter all the proper information, ID and account number, including a validation number, and then create an ID and PW, I get "Something went wrong..., try again". But nothing works. I spent 2 hours on the phone with the IT department and they even took remote control of my laptop, but still couldn't figure this out, so I still can't get a new account established online. IT told me to wait a few days! Huh?
I read here that this has been an ongoing problem for years, and not yet solved.
I can't get an ATT email address until I can create an online presence.
What can I do now? I have to have online presence to see bill and profile, and make settings.
