Cannot validate account for creating My AT&T app ID

I am trying to use the My At&t app in order to troubleshoot some Wifi problems. In order to do this, i need to create a new ID using either my at&t phone number or account number, as well as my zip code. I cannot do so, as it always says "Sorry we cannot validate your information." (RBV106). I am 100% sure I entered the correct information. Please help!

  • If you created an ID when your internet was installed, your ID is already activated.
  • Look for your ID and temporary password in 2 separate emails from AT&T. You’ll need these to sign in.
  • If you can’t find the emails, we can help you find your ID or reset your password.
  • After you activate the ID we emailed to you, you can change your ID to something that’s easy to remember. FYI: New IDs have to be email addresses.

Activate your user ID :

  1. Go to the myAT&T sign-in page.
  2. Sign in with the ID and temporary password we sent you.
  3. Choose a permanent password for your new ID.
  4. Review and accept the AT&T User ID Terms & Conditions. Have AT&T Internet? Complete any additional prompts.
