Bamboozled already?!

I signed up for ATT fiber in Feb, while they were running a promo - $60/mo for 12 mos (300 speed) when bundled with wireless. Cool, sign me up! A few eeeks after sign up, I called in to customer service to follow-up on a rewards card, when I’m told they no longer offer the 300 speed in my area, but have upgraded to 1000 - I was then told I’d get the upgraded speed at the same cost. Sure, sounds great!

Fast forward to now, and my bill has gone up $30. I call to inquire, an NOONE knows what promo I’m speaking of, and tells me I can lower my speed back to 300 but it will be the same price... huh?! Mind you, a neighbor of mine got the same promo with the 300 speed (installed same day as me), and they have had zero changes to their service/billing.

Has anyone else had this problem? I’m seriously considering canceling already if this is the way it’s going to go...

@ATTHelp unfortunately no one has been able to assist me with this issue via text or phone. Please advise of next steps. I am very upset that I cannot seem to get connected with anyone who can help me.
