AT&T Lies at signup.

Hello. Need help with an issue. Went to AT&T store to sign up for home internet.

 

1. Due to location we only can get Wireless home internet with 100 GB data cap. 

2. Rep lied by telling us by saying that signing up for basic Direct TV would give us an additional 50 GB data for only $40.00.

3. Rep made two separate accounts: one for internet in my wife's name and one for direct TV in my name. She used two separate billing addresses for these accounts as well.

4. Direct TV was installed. We just found out that the rep lied to us about the 50 GB data with direct tv purchase and now we are being asked to pay for direct TV that we do not want. 

5. We have spent hours on the phone and at the store with no resolution to our issue.

 

Please help.

Pretty sure both services need to be on the same account and address to qualify.

Why would the rep put the accounts in separate names and addresses? I was not in the store when my wife was setting this up. Does AT&T operate on commissions?
