AT&T Internet Security Suite link takes you directly to mcafee.com

I've been working with seniors for over the past 10 years.  They live in an area in which they can only get AT&T internet service.  I try to set them up with AT&T Internet Security Suite since it's free with their subscription.  Once in a blue moon I'll get lucky and the AT&T Internet Security Suite download link will actually work but 99.9% of the time it doesn't.

Whenever I do the following steps, I get no where....

-Login to att.com

-Go to the AT&T Support page to "Install AT&T Internet Security Suite"

-Click on "Get It", then click on "English Download"

-It takes me directly to the mcafee.com and there's no where to download the "AT&T Internet Security Suite".

In the past, I've done the same steps as above but after I clicked on "Get It", I would have to login again on a white screen and then I would see a page with the Security Key and the download link to begin downloading the AT&T Internet Security Suite.  This has been a CONSTANT issue with AT&T for the past several years.  I can't tell you the number of times that I've called AT&T about this same problem, only to be told that it should be fixed in 48 hours...yeah, right!

I have also tried logging in to att.com using 4 different browsers as well but they all come up with the exact same problem.  Has anyone else been experiencing this same problem?

Hi, @Palarin .

We are working to resolve the McAfee download problems soon. In the meantime, you can access a free McAfee trial here:

https://download.mcafee.com/molbin/iss-loc/directmtponeclicktrial/1.0/1316/1.0.100.1/mcafee_trial_setup_433.0207.3919_key.exe

Thank you for your patience.

#1. Link does not work if clicked on. Have to copy and when pasted in browser, have to remove the . at the end of the link.

#2. How does a trial version provide relief for this long term issue?
