AT&T disconnected my DSL while combining my lines, now they won't reconnect my DSL!

On April 23rd ATT advised I could COMBINE my PHONE LINE and DSL LINE to save money (I then turned around and invested the money back in the faster speed internet)... their Retention employee didn't process the request correctly so they disconnected and CANCELED the DSL and now refuse to reconnect it stating the I REQUESTED the cancellation.

I have the order number for the changes the ATT employee ADVISED I could make, I NEVER canceled my DSL, now I can't get ANYONE to work with me to reconnect the service... they state it is no longer AVAILABLE!

I have had the SAME DSL line for the past 10+ years, an ATT employee doesn't do their job correctly AND NO ONE AT DSL will fix the error.

I use the DSL for my business to Remote Connect to my parent company's server.

 

Can anyone please, please help me???

It looks like at&t is forcing everyone into using U-verse and discouraging/denying any new DSL service even if it is the same house that received it. Odds are if a home already has DSL they may have to support it, so since they want to switch to the digital U-verse they will not allow any new or reconnection households to have DSL. I have had the same number for over 30 years and DSL ever since it was available and I have received the same runaround, went from supervisor to supervisor and basically it was, to bad so sad we cant help you. I wish you luck, but sadly I think at&t is willing to lose a small percentage of their customer base to make the switch.
