AT&T customer service

Does anyone know how to get a hold of someone that's in charge of the billing department? I was just subjected to the most insanely horrible customer service call that I've ever been a party to. It's so ridculous that there's a part of me that wants to believe that it was a joke. I keep half-expecting a representative to called me and say, "Sorry, the person that you were talking to has been let go because they just pulled a practical joke on you."

 

NO MATTER WHAT I SAID, the representative only responded with one of four answers:

 

1)Yes

 

2)No

 

3) I will not issue you a credit

 

4) I can tell you about some of the promotions you might be eligible for. 

She didn't care about the notes in front of her, my documenation, or the fact that the other two representatives I talked two (becuase of course I was shuffled around several times), agreed that AT&T was at fault. I refuse to believe that there isn't someone that can help me resolve this issue. I've gotten issues far bigger than this handled in ths past,and so I know this can be fixed, unless what I'm experiencing is the new definition of quality customer experience.

Yes I have too! There was nothing I could say or do to get any other reply's. The person was aolso a manager / boss over the person I spoke to at customer servive. I've been over billed by At & T as to my home phone and TV. It takes hours of my talking and month's to be reimbursed or credited on my future bills. I never have had one problem with their internet people. The tech help, customer service and person that comes to my home to fix their internet proble go above and beyond. I don't know any other phone numbers other than the basic number for customer service which takes you to the department you need. The Internet account has a different # and acct for just having internet and nothing else/ no home phone/ TV.... Wish I could help you out!: R.G.J B.

The only 'official' customer service number is 1-800-288-2020. 

 

There have been numerous posts touting a different number.  Please be aware that any number other than the above number is a third party and they charge by the hour.
