ATT collection

I had att internet and moved a year ago. When I moved there was no att service available and they tried to charge me $250.00 for canceling when I had no choice. I called and called and called. Must have spent at least 30 hours on the phone waiting or getting passed around. I was told at least 3 times it was taken care of and I even have an email to prove it. Now I have this on my credit!!!!! How can I get this fixed. I’m not paying anyone this money or calling anymore. Someone needs to fix this.

I have been turned over to a collection agency for a bill I do not owe and have been repeatedly told it will be fixed when I call and spect to a representative. I am ready to call a lawyer because the att computer records prove I do not owe the bill and have been told not to pay by representatives.
