When will we get service?
AT&T wired the neighborhood for fiber over a month ago but hasn’t connected to houses yet. What’s the holdup? I’ve wired the house for fiber but can’t get service yet. The website says I can get 50 MBs but no thanks. I want gig speed

are you sure the fiber they ran is for residential fiber and not for a cell tower, school, emergency services etc if all it says that you can get is 50 then fiber isnt available yet, once fiber is run it can take 6 months to a year to be available

Thanks for your response Dave. The utilities are behind the house on a utility pole. Most people have an aerial wire to the house but I remodeled and connected everything underground in conduits. I installed 2 fiber optic cables in a plastic box behind the garage right below the pole into my utility closet in the house. This should make the installation super easy as I just need an ONT in the utility closet and a modem.

Hey Constructive,
they have definitely pulled fiber throughout the neighborhood. I just need a drop to my connection point

AT&T fiber won't go live until the entire neighborhood project is completed. As mentioned above, a wait of three months and up is common.
