Want AT&T Fiber like Neighbor

Hi

 

Longtime AT&T Customer & Shareholder and need to improve speed from DSL U-verse (18) to Fiber. 

 

Live in gated community where AT&T ran the orange gigaservice cable through 2 summers ago. We live on corner and 2 different neighbors have this service but when AT&T looks at our account online they say the best they can offer is 24Mg and NOT FIBER? 

 

Can someone at AT&T help me? If not, will have to switch to comcast. They offer 200, 300, 600, 800 & 1000 Internet speed service here and I can use my own router and modem.

There are many factors that goes into why fiber is not available in your area. We recommend that you fill out the form, so that they can research your address to see if you can get the faster speed.

Can take 3+ weeks to hear back on an address validation case, should have a case number to reference to.... would probably check back around July 25 if have not heard anything before then.

Wow, still no communications from AT&T? 

 

Crazy as this is their fundamental business. We sell internet and tv services and based on your location we can do this ...

 

Ordering Comcast Internet today as AT&T answer is taking to long and communication is poor.

You were told it would take 3+ weeks. It’s been 2.  When they finish the research they will contact you. Just curious if you see any in ground hand holes in your yard or your neighbors?

Wow! Over 3 weeks and no communications received from AT&T? Two neighbors each less than 15’ from our property have fiber??

I am a current and longtime AT&T customer, It has been over a month Since formally requesting “research my address” with no reply communications received by AT&T. 

Disapointing!
