Rewards Cards - Scammed

We received 3 rewards cards via US Mail. The cards were activated. Once they were activated, we received an email from "ATT" verifying we had received all of our rewards cards- 4 cards in total (we only received 3). We called ATT, the "representative," informed us that we should have received a "black ATT envelope with another card, valuing $100.00." The "representative" stated that "someone activated the black card, spent the $100.00, and the matter would be investigated, even stated they had the IP address from the person who activated the black card!" (not us, we never received a black envelope or card). The representative offered to "load the $100.00 due to us from the black card on the existing rewards cards in an effort to correct the mistake quickly since we were inconvenienced." Of course...the only way to do this was to verify the card numbers and card information so ATT could add funds to each card ($40, $40, and $20 were to be the increments used). We tried to use the cards later that afternoon and they were all zeroed out, and the email received has mysteriously vanished from our email. Looks like we have been scammed and - others beware!! Two hours on the phone Friday, two hours today, and another 1 1/2 hours today.... no ATT representative could help. The "fraud" links provided are not valid, and the customer rewards chat is down....Very dissatisfied customers.
