Nearby Fiber Pedestal, But Not Available to My Home
I am finishing up a new construction and now find that there is No internet service available according to the address look up.
The golf club subdivision (3500 feet away) has full 1 Gig service.
I have found these at 500' and 950' from my property on my side of the street and they look like fiber pedestals to me:

Am I wrong?

Ca not see the base of the first one but the second one with round top, square base is a fiber pedestal..
Does not mean fiber is inside, have sent future expansion plans where the pedestal is placed with conduit inside but no fiber ran or terminal placed inside.

An empty pedestal? I wouldn't have figured that.
So how would I determine whether it's a dummy or not?

I can do that.
I am just anxious for an answer.
And, if it is No, then I need to find a good alternative.
I still have old copper POTS on the power pole. -Anyone offer v32bis dialup?
