How do I get ATT to come install a Uverse or Fibre system.
My neighbor has a U-verse antenna ATT mdl Owart 35 type NGFW. He told me his neighbor told him about ATT and how he was very happy with the internet service. He informed my neighbor it would take 2 or 3 months of phone calls to get ATT to install it. My neighbor finally had a service man come and verify the satellite system was actually there, so after an additional 3 months of frustration my neighbor was able to get the above-mentioned antenna installed and he is extremely happy with it. I called and wasted 2 1/2 hours with cus serv, trying to get them to believe he had it. After 3 people, 1 cus serv, 2 tech serv reps I gave up for the day.
Why are your customer service people not able to access an account when given the address, and then say they can install the same system, a meagre 270 ft. away for me?
On a side note, Why does a customer have to repeat his or her name, address, account number, date of birth, and other info every time you send them to another person? Makes sense if the call was broken but you have already verified that persons identify with the first contact. Why keep making them repeat it?
