fiber run around

Just purchased a new house on a strip where 5 houses were built in between existing houses. houses 4 down to the left, right and in front of me have fiber shown online. calling att tech support gives me the run around saying they might extend to you in the future. im pretty sure its already available just not in the system cause its new construction. how can I expedite a tech to come to verify?

I doubt that your group of back-fill homes was part of the original Fiber service area install. I doubt there are hand holes of Fiber taps assigned to your group of addresses.

Only way to know is to take a look around. Do you have aerial or underground service for Electricity?

Is the house you reference as "in front' of you actually across the street? If so it might have a hand hole in the front yard that you could look for.

brown, both have fiber offering the 300, 500, and 1 gig plans,

dave, just checked the yards this moring, my next door neighbor has the pole sticking out his yard saying fiber with big concrete slab next to it for the hookups, so the new patch of houses do have fiber hookups its just not in anyones database's yet. 

spoke to a rep that mentioned needing to register address with USPS first. did that and they said it was already in the system but updated it to active with my call.

so submitted a new ticket with the new information of neighbor having the fiber pole. awaiting a callback in 1 to 3 days.
