Fiber, installation time?
Recently got fiber and I’m curious how long installs take.I’m on day 3 of my install and no communication from att or tech.Att says there working on the outside and will let me know when there done.Fiber line was brought to home on day 1 but the cable is just dangling from the roof of my house can anybody give me a timeframe for the long installs?

If your address and those in the neighborhood were turned green for ordering before all outside work was completed, the amount of time to complete that work would not be known. Estimate up to 4 weeks, if equipment shortages could be up to 3 months.
When everything is ready ATT dispatch center will reschedule the installation.
Recently had 2 installs out of a PFP in Muskego, WI that was at minimum a week before being ready, talking with the fiber splicer crew, I was the eight tech looking to complete installation meaning likely 10+ orders for fiber that was going to be delayed.
Do not cancel your existing service until after installation is complete.
The initial installer would have no information, the tech returned the job creating an SRN ticket, the hope is ordering will be suspended instead of more accounts being scheduled.
