Fiber Availability in Galveston Texas 1500 block of Avenue M south side of street

I'm trying to find out when fiber will be available on the south side of 1500 block of Avenue M. Galveston, TX 77550.  The house across the street has it, the house 2 doors down on 1600 block has it, but my block doesn't have it.  NOBODY at AT&T has been able to tell me when it will get here, or how I can request an installation.  If I call support, they just transfer me around and around, but no good answers.

Unknown… ATT does not provide future expansion plans to general public or front line employees.

Currently 30% (18 million) of ATT hardwired residential addresses within 21 state footprint has direct fiber (FTTP). The company is scheduled to add 3 million (5%) per year till end of 2025 when 50% (30 million) will have FTTP option available.

Specific areas are planned for supported by PFP, streets are the dividing lines. Example if planned 6 blocks by 6 block area, the streets forming the area is the dividing lines. Will need placement of a separate PFP and fiber wiring before service could be expanded, from planning to activation could be up to 2 years.

click on map to activate, select fiber bottom left hand corner

zoom in to desired area.

map appears to be updated about every 6 months.

by 2026 50% will be fiber, 50% will have same options as today.

wait and see if local contractors start work in your area over next (4) years or consider relocating to where the service is already available.

Well, thank you for the quick reply.  Unfortunately it sounds like I'm just stuck waiting with no way to inch the service closer to my house.  It's SO close but SOOOOOOO FAR AWAY.
